Necessity is the mother of invention.

The activities of the year were profoundly affected by the onslaught on the coronavirus, COVID-19.    However, in spite of, or maybe because of the challenges that were faced as a result of the restrictions on travel and meeting face to face, we have had to rethink our strategy of how to promote the Word of God in the region of the Antilles. Everything had to be virtual.   

This report will be an overview of the main activities of the Zone during the course of the year 2020.  All done within the context of the Year of the Word of God  (First Sunday of  Advent 2019 to the Feast of St. Jerome, 30 September 2020) promulgated by the Catholic Biblical Federation.

6. Webinar on the Origins of the various translations of the Word – September 18, 2020
7. Festive Celebration in Preparation of the Closing of the Year of the Word of God

“La necesidad es la madre de la invención.”

Las actividades del año se fueron profundamente afectadas por el ataque  del virus corona, COVID-19. Sin embargo, a pesar de, o quizás por los desafíos que se enfrentaron como resultado de las restricciones de viaje y encuentro cara a cara, hemos tenido que repensar nuestra estrategia de cómo promover la Palabra de Dios en la región de las Antillas. . Todo tenía que ser virtual.

Este informe será un resumen de las principales actividades de la Zona durante el transcurso del año 2020. Todo realizado en el contexto del Año de la Palabra de Dios (Primer Domingo de Adviento 2019 a la Fiesta de San Jerónimo, 30 de septiembre 2020) promulgado por la Federación Bíblica Católica.
